News

100-102 Century Radio broadcasts news bulletins on the half-hour between 0600 and 1000 and hourly from 1000 to 1900 on weekdays. These bulletins contain a mix of local, national and world stories, along with sport, weather and entertainment news. At the weekend, bulletins containing local, national and world news are broadcast on Century Radio between 0630 and 1400. Additionally, GMG News Centre bulletins are broadcast from 2000 through until 0000 Monday to Friday and 1500 to 2300 at weekends.

100-102 Century Radio also broadcasts Sky news 0000 to 0500 weekdays and weekends.

Century Radio 100-102 on average broadcasts 10 hours of network programming daily, Monday to Sunday

100-102 Century Radio's weekday local daytime output (0600 - 2000) and peak time weekend (0600-1800 Saturday, 0600-1600 Sunday) output is produced and presented from our local studios, except The Chris Tarrant Show (Saturday's 10:00 - 13:00) produced in London

  • Through The Night With Alex James: Saturday – Monday, 0000 – 0600;
  • The Evening Show with Jo Lloyd: Monday – Thursday, 2000 – 0000 & Sunday, 1900 – 0000
  • The Weekend Windup with Robin Galloway: Sunday, 1600 - 1900
  • Disco Divas: Saturday, 1800-0000
  • High School Days: Friday, 2000-0000

Off peak programming is produced at Manchester, except The Weekend Windup (Glasgow)
